ZOLTEK OX is almost non-combustible in air and exhibits excellent fire resistance, heat resistance, and chemical resistance, and is electrically non-conductive. Utilizing the flame-retardant and thermal insulation properties derived from the chemical characteristics of heat-stabilized polyacrylonitrile, it is used in various applications such as welding spatter sheets, insulation and sound-absorbing interior materials for automobiles and vehicles, fire prevention materials for home appliances, protective clothing for firefighting, workwear for furnace operations, and airplane brake pads.
